Delivery and limits.
- REST API with versioned schemas.
- Bulk CSV export, with volumes set out in your account.
- Classification updates daily. Scores refresh quarterly. Every record carries a last_updated field.
- Rate limit on all authenticated keys: 120 requests per 60 seconds, with standard rate-limit headers.
- Documentation is public at api.danahouse.co.uk/v1/docs. No key required to read it.
Licensing the data.
An API key covers internal use. If you want to serve our data and scores inside your own product, take the register in bulk, or verify charities as a service, those are licensed separately.
Or let an agent call it.
The same key works over the Model Context Protocol. Claude, Cursor or any MCP client can search the register and open scorecards without you writing a request.
